Icaro 20 Upland Series
The Breda ICARO 20 is the quintessential high-performance inertia action shotgun designed for the professional guide or high-volume hunter who demands a shotgun that will perform in all conditions and under prolonged heavy use. From the famed dove hunting lodges of Argentina to the timber marshes of the southeastern United States, this iconic Breda can be found in the hands of professionals who demand the best.
The centerpiece of this iconic shotgun is, of course, the precision-drilled barrel made from our proprietary formula of "Acciaio Breda" steel. A specially designed steel alloy that delivers a slight elasticity, it improves the barrel harmonics and reduces expansion as the barrel heats up during heavy use. Breda-drilled barrels are prized for their flat shooting accuracy and their improved shot velocity and pattern density.
One of the most notable features of the Icaro 20 is the trigger group, which is entirely CNC-machined from a solid block of Ergal 7075 T6 aluminum. This alloy is superior to others commonly used in the firearms industry, offering greater resistance to wear and allowing for more precise machining. As a result, the trigger group is of exceptional quality, providing both longevity and the crispest trigger pulls.
Chambered in 20ga /3" gauge, the ICARO 20 boasts nimble and well-balanced proportions that make it highly maneuverable and user-friendly. Its lightweight design and attractive lines are complemented by its ease of maintenance. The frame consists of the classic Breda-designed two-piece upper receiver that is attached to the breech, while the bolt slide guides are contained within the frame itself. By removing the barrel and upper receiver in one action, users can easily access the interior of this lightweight hunting shotgun for routine maintenance and cleaning without fear of losing small pieces or the need for specialty tools.
