For one hundred and forty years, Breda has built guns in the north of Italy — and designed actions the world came to know under other names. Recognition is pleasant. Work is better.
We still select our walnut by eye and dry it in the open air of Val Trompia, for as many seasons as it needs. We still finish by hand what the rest of the industry stopped bothering to touch. Not because it is efficient. Because it is right.
BOTTEGA BREDA
One gun. One craftsman. No quota.
In the bottega, each gun is given to one craftsman. The fitting and the finishing are his — hand work, to his judgment, on his bench. Every part is serialized to that gun alone. No two are alike. None leaves the bench before it is right.
The first gun to carry the bottega's name is coming.

Not every gun we build takes eleven weeks. But every gun we build is designed by the house that engineered the actions the world shoots, and finished by hand to a degree no other production gun receives. The B3.5, the B12is the Icaro.
